How to Get More OpenSea Views?

Need to get more OpenSea views? Of course, you do. You are an ambitious NFT artist, after all. Since the dawn of the NFT market, artists have been desperately trying to make their name on OpenSea. And it makes perfect sense, considering that it is the biggest non-fungible token marketplace.

It has 1.2 million users across the world and features over 80 million NFT collections. Ergo, OpenSea stands at the very center of the currently booming NFT market. And when your NFTs get more views on this goliath of a platform, it increases their exposure and organic reach.

Consequently, they attract more potential buyers, which results in better sales, increased profile ranking, and improved credibility. Yup! All that is possible by getting more views on your OpenSea NFTs. But before enjoying these perks, you have to solve the riddle of how to increase views on an OpenSea listing.

Fortunately, in this article, we have brought you some proven tactics that are known to improve view count on OpenSea. Read them thoroughly and apply them consistently to gain the expected results.

How OpenSea Views are Counted?

Before you embark on the journey to hoard views, you must know what counts as a view on OpenSea. So, the platform considers it one view if an active user visits your NFT. Mind the word “user” because for a view to count; the visitor must have an account on OpenSea. It means that collecting views from random traffic doesn’t work on this platform.

In order to gain views, you must target people that own an OpenSea account. And while most NFT enthusiasts do have one, there are many potential buyers who still don’t know about it. This widens your target audience and gives you a chance to attract more people to OpenSea and gain views from them.

11 Powerful Tactics to Get More Views on OpenSea

Here are the tactics recommended by experts for getting more views on OpenSea. Apply them regularly to improve your view count gradually.

1. Use Popular NFT Project Directories

Until or unless you have a strong presence in the NFT market, it’s a good idea to use NFT directories to reach the audience. NFT directories or calendars are basically websites that publish upcoming NFT projects for the whole world to see.

There are many famous directories, like Vibe Wars, 2NFT, NFT Drop Calendar, etc., that get millions of daily visitors, including collectors and art enthusiasts. So, if you enlist your NFT project on one of these directories, it will gain exposure, and people will start checking it out on OpenSea, boosting its views there.

2. Join Online Forums

You must join online forums and communities to establish connections and promote your artwork there. Look for NFT subreddits, discord channels, Twitter spaces, and other niche forums that you can participate in. Once you join, take some time to build your presence and community there.

After that, start creating your own threads there to promote your signature artwork and ask people to check it out. Since most people in such forums are NFT fanatics, they will surely visit your OpenSea profile. And that will increase views on your NFT collection.

3. Make Use of Rare Tools

Rarity tools are sites that rank collectible NFTs according to their rarity. They basically allow artists to submit their artwork and then allocate it a rank according to its authenticity. The important part is that these rare tools are excellent for promotion since they get millions of visitors daily.

All you have to do is enlist your project, preferably a PFP collection, on one of these sites. If it gets a high rank, many passionate collectors and artists will visit OpenSea to take a closer look at it. Needless to say, that will enhance your project’s view count and popularity.

4. Utilize NFT Calendar Advantage

NFT calendars are a great way to present your project in front of new eyeballs and gain more OpenSea views. The basic purpose of NFT calendars is to gather and showcase the latest NFT drops from different marketplaces in one place. It makes it easier for collectors and buyers to discover new projects without moving across platforms.

Fortunately, the submission is free, so you can get your work showcased on an NFT calendar without spending a dime. Once your project gets listed, it will appear in front of several interested viewers who might chase it down to OpenSea.

That’s how you get more views using NFT calendars. And who knows, if your project kept getting more engagement, it might get featured on the platform’s website or social media. That will increase your OpenSea views even more and enhance sales.

5. Get Verified

Due to the increasing scams in the NFT market, people these days only interact with projects they consider safe and credible. That’s why it is important that you get verified on OpenSea to establish your credibility. However, the problem is that only those projects get a verification mark on OpenSea that cross 100K in trade volume.

Sure, it’s not easy to achieve this milestone, and it might take a while, but it’s worth it. Once your account gets verified, people won’t hesitate to interact with your NFTs, and that will boost their views and sales.

6. Use Twitter Effectively

Twitter has lately become the home for NFT enthusiasts and crypto fanatics. They use it to locate trending projects, keep an eye on the latest NFT drops, and interact with fellow collectors. If you manage to use Twitter effectively, it would be a lot easier for you to get more OpenSea views. Here’s how you can utilize it.

To Promote and Hunt Buyers

With a strong presence of the NFT community on Twitter, it’s an ideal platform to promote your projects. It also allows you to find top buyers and pitch your project to boost sales.

Join Twitter Spaces about NFTs

There are literally tons of Twitter spaces filled with collectors, artists, and potential NFT buyers these days. You must join X spaces to promote your project and get more curious eyeballs on it.

7. Use Newsletters and Email Marketing

Newsletters and email marketing sure sound like old-school promotional methods, but they are still quite effective. You’ll be surprised to know that about 43% of NFT collectors subscribe to newsletters just to stay updated about the market. So, get in touch with some famous websites and ask them to feature your project in their newsletter.

It will enhance exposure and bring more OpenSea views to the promoted NFT. Using email marketing would yield the same results as well. Just share the link to your NFT project with fellow artists on your mailing list and ask them to review it. This way, you’ll get peer reviews and views at the same.

8. Guest Appearances on Podcasts

In today’s fast technological world, Podcasts provide convenient and productive entertainment in audio format. People prefer listening to them because they can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere. Of course, in the last couple of years, many NFT podcasts have also popped up, and some of them even have thousands of dedicated listeners.

Now, if you manage to make an appearance on such podcasts, it will do wonders for your reach. It will help establish your image as a renowned artist and promote your NFTs. Only after one or two appearances you’ll start seeing a considerable increase in your OpenSea views and even sales, for that matter.

9. Share to Promote

We share YouTube videos to get more views, right? Well, as it happens to be, this tactic works well for gaining OpenSea views too. Promoting your NFT on multiple platforms is pretty crucial to put your NFTs in the limelight. It helps increase your project’s reach and visibility, which eventually leads to a better view count.

Here are two main sharing methods that experts suggest.

Use Social Media Platforms

Social media platforms like Reddit, Twitter, Discord, etc., host a strong NFT community. You must share the link of your NFT collections there, so they reach the right audience and attract potential viewers.

Also, make sure to join some reciprocal sharing and social bookmarking sites for promoting your NFTs. Since these sites get a lot of traffic, they can be a great way to promote your work and attain more views.

Ask Friends and Family to Share

Ask your friends, colleagues, or family members to join OpenSea and check out your NFTs. This promotional tactic is quite simple as it involves sharing with people that you already know. And the best part is that most of them do as they are asked because they want to support you.

10. Try to Get Help from Influencers

Influencer marketing is so much popular these days that now it has penetrated the mighty non-fungible tokens market. You might not believe it, but celebrities and innovators like Logan Paul and Elon Musk have been endorsing NFTs lately. Now, imagine if some famous influencer recommends your NFT collection.

What would you think will happen next? That’s right! Your collection will go forth and explode in the market. It will start getting tons of views, and people from all over the internet will rush over to see your work. That is because people trust the words of celebrities and tend to follow their interests.
