How to Get More Viewers on Trovo?

There are tons of platforms where you can get yourself known as a streamer. Although YouTube, Twitch, and even TikTok allow you to connect with your audience via lives, some people are also looking forward to learning how to get more viewers on Trovo and connect with their audience.

Like Twitch, Trovo (previously known as “Madcat”) is a relatively new streaming platform where video games are the most common content. There are paid subscription tiers, allowing you to make some profit as people start following you.

If you are a streamer and are wondering how you can obtain more Trovo views, you’ve come to the right place. We’ll describe how you can attract new viewers and keep them hooked with your content.

How to Get Viewers on Trovo?

1. Play Popular Games

The video game industry is quite fast-paced, and there are always new releases every week, some of which have become trendy. However, many other titles also manage to gain popularity and keep people interested in the content streamers produce.

There are tons of online games, single-player and multiplayer games, that have managed to remain popular since their release. If you are a passionate gamer, you probably already play one of the trendiest titles in today’s panorama.

Hence, if you want to earn more followers in your live stream, you can start by streaming popular content that people naturally look for to keep themselves entertained.

2. Do Streams Consistently

Like any other social media platform, Trovo requires you to be consistent with your stream times if you truly want to get some followers. You don’t have to be online 24/7 to be able to reach your audience, but it’s essential to stream a few times a week if you want to boost your following.

Although it may sound complicated, live streaming has become quite profitable, and some people are dedicating themselves full-time to this activity. Some of these popular streamers are proof that being constant on any platform will eventually get you some followers.

3. Schedule Your Stream

Most people don’t consider that; apart from streaming regularly, it’s also important for you to stick to a particular schedule so people can easily get used to finding you at a particular hour. Planning your streams for a particular hour can also help you have a manageable schedule.

Like getting viewers on Twitch, try not to schedule your streams during “peak times,” which is when people use the platform the most. It may seem illogic, but doing so makes you compete with the most popular streamers on the platform, which can reduce the likeliness of getting new viewers.

4. Use Hashtags and Vibe Tags

People can find your stream more easily if you use streamer tags. Try to include the game you’re playing and the genre of your stream, whether you’re looking to show people some content or if you’re reviewing the game, for instance.

You can take advantage of tags to gain more audience and attract new Trovo followers. Therefore, try not to overlook this feature and include tags that describe your stream as accurately as possible.

5. Support Other Streamers

If you’ve been part of the streaming community (as a fan, at least), you probably know that the most popular streamers often collaborate with each other. Therefore, whenever it’s possible, try to host collaborative gameplays with others, as the audience they have can increase views of your own stream.

Remember to give a shoutout now and then to streamers you like and collaborate with you, as it can help you attract more viewers for your content in the long run.

6. Keep Clean Overlays

It’s important for you to keep your overlays clean and personalized to grow your audience. An overlay can help you personalize alerts for followers and subs, among many other things, making your stream even more unique. There are tons of third-party bots or apps you can use to customize your overlays, allowing you to make your content more engaging.

7. Create YouTube Videos

YouTube has become a very popular place for streamers, and not exactly because people directly stream on that network, but because of “stream highlights.”

You can make YouTube videos of your streams (not the whole stream, but a summarized version of them with the most interesting content) and attract people from this network to your Trovo channel. It may seem trivial, but it’s a very powerful strategy!

8. Conduct Small Giveaways and Promotions

You can attract viewers if you often conduct giveaways and promotions. People will start spreading the word about your streams if they find themselves being entertained and winning nice things while watching you. There are tons of things you can use as a reward for your audience.

For instance, you can give subscriptions to certain services or perhaps special items in the video game you’re currently playing. Whatever works best for your audience – you can be sure they’ll appreciate it.

Trovo is a flexible platform that allows you to conduct different giveaways and promotions in unique ways. This option doesn’t have to be frequent, but you can conduct them now and them to keep your audience hooked with your content.

9. Be Kind and Interactive with Chats

It’s okay if you forget that someone might be watching you now and then. However, please note that whenever you have viewers, you should keep things interactive and constantly talk with your viewers.

The interaction between the streamer and the viewer is what makes it all interesting. Trovo can be considered a social network. Therefore, communication is essential; you should never remain silent during your streams. Otherwise, it’ll be complicated for you to build viewers in the long run.

Do your favorite streamers remain silent while they’re playing video games? Probably not. Hence, you shouldn’t keep your mouth shut either – try to be as joyful and kind as possible to keep your audience entertained.

10. Play with Viewers

Many streamers play with their viewers for multiple reasons. People love getting involved in their favorite streamer’s content. Plus, if people find out that you often play with your viewers and subscribers, they’ll likely invite more people to watch what you’re doing.

Again, this doesn’t have to happen too frequently if you don’t want to, especially if you prefer single-player streaming games. However, switching things now and then can help you boost your reach and make your viewers more interested in what you have to offer.

11. Use Quality Gears

High-quality gears are essential if you want to ensure that your stream has the highest quality possible. Neglecting these aspects may harm your reach, as people are very unlikely to low-quality stream, regardless of whether it’s an audio problem or poor video quality.

Here are some of the gears that you should invest in to keep the quality of your stream as high as possible:

Webcam: A good webcam that can capture video in high quality is a must. There are many cost-effective options that can help you maintain your stream at the best quality possible.

Lights: A webcam is not the only device you’ll need to keep the video quality at its best. You will also need proper illumination. Hence, investing in a ring light can be a good decision. These devices aren’t too costly, either.

Microphone: It’s also important to buy a mic that captures good-quality audio. Although some computers and headsets have microphones integrated, you may want to get a stand-alone microphone to ensure the audio quality.

Last but not least, make sure that your internet connection has enough Mbps for you to stream without interruptions. Streaming in 720p or 1080p requires a minimum of 5 Mbps. If you want to stream in 4K video quality, then your internet should have a speed of 25 Mbps.

Although this may seem trivial, all of this equipment is important to make sure that your audience has the best quality possible during your streams. People are more likely to watch and stay at a stream of good quality.

12. Promote it on Other Social Platforms

When you become a streamer, you create a new brand. You are providing entertainment services, so it is important for you to advertise your offer on social media platforms. It’s not uncommon for streamers to start Discord communities where they can interact with their audience in a more “intimate” way.

You can also set up Twitter, and TikTok to further engage your audience. We also recommend creating a unique logo and sticking to a particular color palette so your viewers can easily identify you around the web when they see the symbols that characterize your brand.

It’s possible to obtain a lot of views if you invest some time and effort in social media marketing. After all, the algorithm in these platforms can help you reach people that might be interested in your content, but it also requires you to be constant and engaging.

13. Follower Alerts

Follower alerts can be set up with overlays in Trovo. You can set up unique sounds or messages whenever a new follower gets on board. It’s a common practice among streamers on any platform.

Therefore, it’s something that you should not overlook in your streams. Although follower alerts may seem trivial, it’s another way you have to keep your audience entertained and interested in you.
