If you want to share or reference a specific poll on X (formerly Twitter), you’ll need its direct URL.
Follow the steps below to copy your X Poll URL on both desktop/laptop and mobile (Android/iOS).
How to Get Your X Poll URL on Desktop/Laptop
- Open your web browser and go to X.com . Log in to your account.
2. Navigate to your “Profile” and create or locate the “ Post that contains the poll”.
Tip: If you want to create a poll, go to X.com, click “Post”, then select the poll icon (bar chart).
3. Click the time or date shown above your poll post (for example, “2m” or “Oct 7”). This opens the poll post in a new tab or page.
4. The poll opens on its own page. That is your Poll URL.
5. Your Poll URL looks like this:
https://x.com/yourusername/status/1234567890123456789
6. Copy that link — it’s your Poll URL, which you can now use or share.
How to Get Your X Poll URL on Mobile (Android/iOS)
- Open the “ X app” and log in to your account.
2. Go to your “Profile” or timeline and open the “Post that contains the poll”.
3. Tap the “Share” icon (arrow) below the poll.
4. Tap “Copy link”(or Copy link to Post ). The poll URL is copied to your clipboard.
Notes:
- You must open the poll post itself (not a thread preview) before copying the link.
