This has prompted widespread inquiries, particularly regarding how to increase sales on Shopee, which are frequently discussed on business platforms and communities.

But why are businessmen so concerned with their growth on Shopee? Well, that’s because it’s the biggest e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia, with over 343 million active monthly visitors, making it the perfect stage to host business.

And besides, every businessman wants more sales, right? So, it’s only natural to be obsessed with boosting sales on Shopee or any other e-commerce platform.

So, to help lift your sales chart up some more, we’ve mentioned some of the best tips recommended by e-commerce experts, proven to boost sales on a Shopee store and attract more potential customers.

How to Boost Shopee Sales?

1. Create a Great Content

The most vital part of any Shopee store is the products, and the way you present them in front of your potential customers directly affects your sales.

If you’ve spent time coming up with a clever product description, have invested in professional product photography, and have filled every detail that your customers can possibly need, it would automatically look appealing, right? Here are some tips to make your products look more appealing:

• Make sure to upload at least 3 product pictures
• Write the salient features in bullet points
• Include a size chart in the pictures, if necessary
• Add a frequently asked questions section at the end to resolve customers’ doubts

When you start following these tips, the visual appeal of your products will improve, and they will end up selling more, boosting your sales chart, which was your initial goal.

2. Run Campaigns

Shopee helps businesses to increase their sales via cross-selling by offering the campaign feature. In this feature, you upload your best-selling products on the platform, and after getting selected, it appears on some of the most prominent spots on the site.

However, this feature is like a contest, and you can only hope that once you submit a bestselling product of a specific category, it gets picked by Shopee and gets a spot on the site. Here are the criteria your product needs to fulfill to get selected to feature in a campaign:

• Make sure that the products you submit have amazing descriptions and aesthetic photographs
• Shopee asks the sellers to provide a 10% to 20% discount on the products if necessary

If you follow these criteria, then perhaps your products might get selected for a campaign and end up getting lots of attention from the potential buyers. Here are some benefits that you’ll instantly avail yourself once your product features in a campaign:

• Boost click-through rate
• Products will feature in a prominent spot on the site, making it easier for customers to see them and check them out, which increases potential sales.
• More exposure for you as a seller

How to Join the Shopee Campaign?

Step 1: Go to Shopee’s website and log in to your seller account.

Step 2: Open the “Marketing Center” and navigate to the campaigns section.

Step 3: Under the campaigns section, select “Upcoming” to see if there is any campaign coming up that you can take part in.

Step 4: If you see a campaign in the pipeline, “Submit” your products to it and hope that they get featured.

3. Promote with Discounts

What’s the one thing that all customers love while shopping? That’s right, they all love discounts. That’s why one of the most effective tactics to promote your products and increase their sales is offering discounts.

Now, some might say that how discounts can be an effective tactic when they decrease the potential profit. Well, think of it this way. Let’s say if you’re selling a t-shirt for $20 with a 10$ profit, and you are selling ten pieces a day, you’ll be making $300.

But if you set it to $15, decreasing your profit by $5, you might sell 20 or even 50 pieces a day, boosting your sales significantly. See, it’s not a bad idea to use a discount after all. Besides, you don’t have to offer discounts on your new arrivals, so it’s not a bad idea after all.

4. Create My Vouchers

Vouchers are also an excellent way of enticing your customers to spend more money while shopping in your store. Shopee allows the sellers to make their own custom vouchers and offer them to customers once they purchase products of more than a specific amount.

For example, you can give vouchers to customers that have spent more than $1000 on your store, and it will encourage them to spend 1000 more. Currently, there are two types of vouchers that you can set on your Shopee store.

• First, there are product vouchers that apply only to specific products. You got to select products on which you want the discount to work, and that’s it.
• Second are shop vouchers that apply to all products in your store.

Since shop vouchers are more lucrative for customers, only give them out when a customer hits a maximum sale point, like spending $3k or $5k on your store. Also, set a time frame for your voucher, so they work only for a specified period.

How to Create a Voucher?

Step 1: Open your Shopee seller account and go to the seller center.

Step 2: Now, open the marketing center and click on “Vouchers.”

Step 3: From the pop-up, select what kind of voucher you want to create

Step 4: After that, fill up the voucher details and select the products on which you want it works (It’s when you have selected the product voucher option)

Step 5: Once you’re done with the settings, click on the “Save” button.

5. Nominate Products for Flash Sale

Ever seen products appearing on the home page banner of the Shopee site? Well, those products are there because of the flash sale feature, and if you want your products to appear there as well, you got to nominate them for flash sale. The salient benefits that you’ll avail yourself if your products get selected for flash sale are:

• It increases the odds of that product getting more sales than usual
• Increases your exposure as a seller and attracts more potential customers to your store
• Boosts your click-through rate, increasing the organic reach of your store

Requirements

You can’t hold a flash sale unless you fulfill these criteria:

• Set a specific date and time for the sale to end
• The dismount you offer on your products should be within the allowed limit of the nomination agreement. This stops any seller from low bowling the competition by throwing prices too low or using tricks like free shipping, targeting ads, etc.
• The products you submit must match the category for which Shopee is about to hold the flash sale.
• There should be enough stock of the product you’re submitting for the flash sale because, on a flash sale, products get sold pretty quickly.

How to Join a Flash Sale?

You can only submit your products for a Shopee flash sale if your profile has the following features:

• You have never received a penalty point
• Positive chat response rate
• High fulfillment and low shipment rate
• Positive shop rating (More 5 stars compared to other ratings)

How to Get a Flash Deal Slot?

Step 1: Open your Shopee seller account and go to SG seller solutions.

Step 2: Now, select the service you want to purchase, which in your case is “Flash Sale.”

Step 3: After purchasing the flash sale service, you can go back to your seller account and open the marketing tools.

Step 4: In the marketing tools section, you’ll see the flash sale section.

Step 5: Select the “Flash Sale.” and join a campaign if available.

Step 6: Agree to the terms and conditions. After that, Nominate the products for sale.

6. Shopee Top Picks from the Shop

Shopee allows you to cross-sell products to potential customers using the top picks feature. Through this feature, a seller can set 4 to 8 of his best products to display at the end of every product page, which convinces buyers to add them to their cart.

The products you set for top picks are categorized in collections with different niches. For example, on a makeup item, you can set a collection relevant to the beauty products to appear on its product page. So, go to your marketing center now and start making a top-picks collection for each category of products you sell in your store.

7. Use Shopee Live Feature

Shopee live is an exciting feature that allows sellers to hold a live session in which they can promote their products by talking about their features and why customers should buy them.

Buyers can directly interact with sellers during a live stream, like asking a question about products and deciding whether to purchase the product or not. E-commerce experts really love Shopee live feature as it allows you to use your real-life marketing skills to sell a product.

8. Bundle Deals

Offering bundle deals is a great way of keeping your stock moving and increasing sales. Most sellers use this tactic on products that fail to get the audience’s attention or seem too expensive to be bought as a single piece.

For example, if one pair of jeans is $400 and no one is buying it, you can give a bundle deal and offer three pairs of jeans for $1000, which is quite tempting. In this way, you’ll be offering your customers an offer they can’t refuse, and they will definitely end up purchasing the products.

9. Customer Service

Excellent customer service is the backbone of a successful Shopee store. If you want to increase your sales, you need to improve your customer service and make sure that you’re there for your potential buyers when they need you.

When you guide a customer properly and point them in the right direction, their odds of purchasing a product from your store increase a lot, research also shows that e-commerce stores that provide great customer service attract more audiences and get more sales.

Thus, improve your customer service in all aspects, so you can provide the best online shopping experience to buyers, which can eventually increase your sales too.
