How to Increase Your Snapchat Score?

Demonstrating your popularity and authority on the platform, having a high Snapchat score is super attractive to brands – and to potential future followers. Having a high snapscore shows that you’re interacting with your audience on the platform. So, learning how to get your Snapchat score up is essential. It is found underneath your name and icon in your Snapchat profile. Also, your snapscore reflects how often you connect with other users on the app.

How Does Your Snapchat Score Work?

Snapscore is a way for Snapchat to measure how active a user is on the app. The more snaps a user sends and receives from their friends, the higher their snapscore will be.

However, the exact factors that influence a snapscore and how the snapchat algorithm works are not completely known. While there is no surefire way to guarantee a higher snapscore, there are some strategies that can help boost it.

How to Go Up Your Snapchat Score?

To help you build your audience on the platform and appeal to brands and followers, here are our top 7 tips you can use to increase your snapscore.

1. Send More Snaps

Obviously, sending more snaps is going to increase your snapscore. For each snap you send to individuals you are friends with on Snapchat, your snapscore goes up by one point.

By sending more snaps, you also create more opportunities to receive snaps back from your Snapchat friends in return. This is important because your snapscore increases when you both send and receive a snap.

2. Send Your Snaps to Multiple Friends

Did you know that every time you send a snap, your snapscore increases by one point? Additionally, sending a snap to multiple people at once can increase your score even more. For example, if you send the same snap to three people, your snapscore will increase by three points instead of just one.

So, the more people you send a snap to, the higher your snapscore will be. Keep this in mind to maximize your score and show off your Snapchat activity.

3. Open Snaps Regularly

As we mentioned earlier, your snapscore increases each time you send and receive a snap. However, when receiving snaps, you actually need to open it for the snap to contribute towards your snapscore. With this in mind, you should make sure you never have any unread snaps on the app.

You should also respond to all snaps you receive from your Snapchat friends for two reasons. One, because each individual is less likely to send you snaps in the future if you haven’t opened their previous snaps.

Two, replying to your snaps creates a conversation since it gives you the opportunity to respond – and receive even more replies from the sender – both of which increase your snapscore.

4. Try Not to Send Direct Messages

It is a common misconception that sending and opening direct messages on Snapchat can affect your snapscore. However, this is not the case. Direct messages do not have any impact on your snapscore, whereas snaps do.

Therefore, it is best to avoid sending direct messages and instead send your messages as snaps in order to increase your snapscore. This way, you can make the most of every message you send on the app.

5. Post and View More Stories

Each snap you upload to your snapchat story is worth one snapchat point, allowing you to raise your score by many points per day – without overwhelming your Snapchat friends with individual snaps.

Even better, after viewing the stories you post, your Snapchat friends are more likely to begin communicating with you and to send responses to your stories, boosting your snapscore even higher.

It’s important to view others’ stories, too, since this gives you the opportunity to respond to their updates and boost your snapscore by interacting with the stories of your Snapchat friends.

6. Add More Friends

If you want to increase your snapscore, growing your pool of Snapchat friends is one of the best things you can do. After all, if you have more Snapchat friends, you have more people available who you can send and receive snaps from. First, you should make sure that you’ve added everyone you know as a friend on Snapchat.

After you’ve done that, the easiest way to instantly gain a ton of new Snapchat friends is to buy Snapchat followers from Media Mister. As a leading social media marketing platform, we allow customers to buy Snapchat followers and instantly skyrocket their snapscore affordably with a money-back guarantee.

Buying followers from us can be a useful way to quickly grow your Snapchat account and boost your snapscore to win the attention of brands and new followers.

7. Maintain Your Snapstreak

When you develop a snapstreak with multiple friends – a.k.a. you send snaps to each other every day without fail – you encourage both yourself and your Snapchat friends to send snaps to each other every single day.

We’re all obsessed with maintaining our snapstreaks, meaning we’ll often send snaps purely to maintain our streak. For this reason, maintaining numerous snapstreaks with multiple friends is a great way to boost your snapscore since every snap sent and received to maintain your streak adds to your total snapscore.

Conclusion

Boosting your Snapchat score is the best way to get the attention of new Snapchat friends and followers and of brands who might consider working with you on the app, making a high snapscore invaluable.

By increasing the number of snaps you send and receive per day, you can quickly increase your Snapchat score. Additionally, growing your Snapchat friend base can also help boost your score. By implementing these strategies, you can achieve a high Snapchat score and stand out on the platform.
