Server Colors

Believe it or not but the color scheme of a server can tell a lot about its nature. Try to give your server the colors that match its vibe and give it an aesthetic look. The most trending server color schemes are purple-red, greenish-blue, and dark purple.

Add Emojis in the Channel Name

Instead of simply naming your server channels, you can take a more creative approach and add emojis to it to make it visually attractive. For example, you can add a microphone speaker to the announcement channels, so people can recognize them through emojis.

Choose Template

If you’re not interested in customizing your server, then you can always invest in a good template. There are thousands of templates out there in the market that you can purchase and apply to your server to give it that professional, dreamy, and aesthetic look.

3. Set Up Your Channels in Server

A good server is always well organized and has proper channels for different purposes. If you want to make your server look uncluttered and aesthetic, you best set up channels on it, so people can effectively communicate on your server.

For example, you can set a separate channel for announcements, a voice chat channel only for gaming discussions, and a channel for sharing visual content. The practice of setting up channels will keep your server clean and impress new visitors through its neatness.

4. Set Up Roles

Although most server admins like to keep things in their hands and don’t want to share authority with anyone, if you want to instill trust in the community and want to manage things more effectively, you need to assign roles to the top contributors and members of your server.

Basically, the idea is to allow some of your community members to act as moderators and ensure that everything is going smoothly on the server. For example, moderators have the right to kick out members that violate the community rules and show rude behavior.

They are also responsible for welcoming new members, engaging the community using different methods, and reporting to the server admin regarding increases or decreases in stats.

5. Set Rules

In order to ensure the sanctity and professional environment of your server, you need to set some ground rules on it. You can set rules like:

• Avoid using foul language
• Don’t spam content
• Respect each other’s privacy
• Don’t use hate speech, etc.

Once you set these rules, you need to make sure that people are following them in your community, and if you find anyone who is violating them, you can kick them out of the server for breaking the server rules.

Be careful while selecting bots for your server, and think about how they will add value to your community members’ lives and improve your server before installing them.

7. Grow Your Discord Server

Every Discord server with a positive and consistent growth rate is a good discord server, and that’s a fact! Obviously, if a server is successfully expanding and getting more new members constantly, it serves its primary purpose and can therefore be declared a good server.

Possibly that’s the reason most experts recommend to grow discord server to make it a huge hit and, in doing so, earn the title of good discord server. Now, improving the growth rate of your server can be done in a lot of different ways, and here are some ideas for that:

By applying these tricks, you will be able to spread the word about your server, which will draw the audience’s attention and thus increase your server members.

8. Admins/Mods

Your server must have a clear hierarchy of roles to function correctly. Ensure that you assign the admin and moderator roles to the right people and keep a close eye on them so they perform their duties perfectly.

Keep one thing in mind assigning a moderator role isn’t such a big deal since you can give this role to any top member of your community. But when it comes to assigning the admin role, only select a person you completely trust, or it can mess up things.

9. Categorize the Channels

The purpose of creating channels is to make effective communication possible on a Discord server and to keep things neat. However, sometimes when you start a lot of different channels, the channels themselves become a mess, and it becomes hard to manage them.

To avoid this problem, you need to categorize your channels properly. You can divide them according to their nature. For example, you can put all the discussion channels in one category and all the visual content channels in another.

Doing this will make it easier for the community members to find the channel they are looking for, and it will keep your server clear of nuisances.
