11 Proven Strategies to Get 50 Followers on Twitch

Anyone can become famous on Twitch if they know what they’re doing. Simply follow these guidelines, and you’ll be able to gain your first 50 followers in no time:

1. Don’t Just Stream – Let Others Know

When you go to start a live stream, let your friends and family know beforehand. They’d likely be happy to support you and become your first loyal followers on Twitch, pushing you closer to gaining your first 50 followers.

Feedback from close friends is also valuable. If there’s any part of your stream that they feel fit to criticize, this is helpful information for you because you can make the proper adjustments to improve your stream. Making your streams better will bring more followers in the long run.

2. Ask them to Follow

Directly asking Twitch users to follow you is a great way to reach your first 50 followers. Someone who’s willing to watch your stream is usually willing to follow you as well, as long as you remind them. Include a call to action in your streams that encourages viewers to follow your account, and you’ll start to see your numbers increase significantly.

3. Play Right Games at Right Time

Playing the right games at the right time can be a crucial factor in gaining your first 50 followers on Twitch. To boost your chances of becoming viral on Twitch, understand your audience and cater to their interests. This can help you choose games that will attract and engage your audience, leading to higher viewership and more followers.

Additionally, it’s important to consider the schedule and timing of your streams, making sure to stream during peak hours when your target audience is most active. By selecting the right games and streaming at the right time, you can maximize your chances of growing your Twitch following and achieving success as a streamer.

4. Set A Schedule to Stream

If you want to be serious about Twitch and gain your first 50 followers, you need to commit to a schedule. Users tend to follow streamers that they can rely on, who know they will be online at consistent times every week.

Set a specific time that you’re going to stream and stick to it. Over time, this will build loyalty in your fans as people realize they can always enjoy your stream at the same time. Being seen as reliable by your audience will help turn casual watchers into devoted followers.

5. Use High-Quality Equipment

A basic rule of Twitch is that in order to have quality streaming, you need to have high-quality equipment. People want to follow someone who has a consistent stream that sounds and looks good, so focusing on this quality will significantly help you earn 50 followers on Twitch. Be sure to invest in a good microphone and camera so that your audio and video are all up to par.

You also need steady internet connections so that your stream doesn’t crash while you’re live; that would be a major issue and turn people off. Bad software can also crash your stream at times, so make sure any program you run is reliable. Twitch users can tell a good stream from a poor stream quickly, so there’s no fooling your audience if yours isn’t of high quality.

6. Be Engaged With Your Viewers

Opening up a conversation with your viewers is important to building loyalty. You want them to feel like they’re part of a community and that their opinion is heard. This engagement will encourage people to follow you and keep watching your streams.

Pay attention to the chat and respond to people’s comments. You should also ask questions that spark new discussions and take your fans’ feedback about your gameplay. If they want to see something specific, giving them what they want is a great way to satisfy them.

7. Appreciate Every Single Follower

Every one of your followers should feel welcome. After all, they’re giving you their support, so it makes sense for you to give them your gratitude in exchange. When someone follows you, thank them personally, so they know you care about them and want them there.

If a person follows you while you’re streaming, you should react for everyone to see. You can even celebrate in some way so that your new follower immediately feels appreciated and your other followers remember your devotion to your audience.

As you start to get a few followers, this method will aid you in getting to 50 and becoming an affiliate because of the care you put into your community. Treat all of your followers well, and more will want to join you faster than you’d expect.

8. Host Community Events

Hosting a fun event now and then is a great way to interact with your fans. This will help you attract more followers because it will build bonding experiences between you and your audience and ultimately make you more popular in the long run.

There are tons of events out there that you can do, such as running a giveaway or simply choosing to play a game with your viewers that everyone can join. Regardless of what it is, your fans should feel engaged and have a great time joining you.

9. Collaborate With Other Streamers

No matter what kind of streamer you are, there’s sure to be another like-minded creator out there that aligns with your style. Invite a streamer with a similar interest to collaborate with you so that you can gain the attention of their audience as well. You can play games with them or even interview them on your Twitch channel.

The fans of that streamer will be intrigued to check out this collaboration and might want to watch your own content afterward. The more popular your collaborator is, the better, as you’ll increase the number of people that will potentially follow you. Getting in front of someone else’s audience is an excellent way to start gaining followers of your own and reach 50.

10. Share Your Stream on Social Media Platforms

It’s a great idea to promote your stream on other social media channels outside of Twitch, such as Twitter, Reddit, and Instagram. Lots of Twitch users occupy these other spaces as well, so this will help you reach a wider audience and get your first 50 followers.

You also don’t want to stop people from accessing your stream if they missed it. Share your streams on YouTube after they end so that fans can always watch them at any time. This way, you’re maximizing the number of people who hear about you and might follow your stream.

11. Buy Twitch Followers
